1. What Spendrr is

Spendrr is a Bitcoin wallet that runs in your browser. We don't manage your money, have no access to it, and can't freeze, send or return it. We are not a bank or a crypto-asset custodian. By using the app you agree to these terms.

2. Beta, no warranty

The app is under development and has not had an independent security audit. It is provided as is, without any warranty of function, availability or freedom from errors. Features marked beta may change or disappear.

3. What you are responsible for

• Seed phrase. It is the only key to your money. Write it down, show it to no one, upload it nowhere. We will never ask for it.
• Password. It encrypts the seed in this browser. We can't recover it.
• Device. Whoever has your unlocked device or your seed has your money.
• Checking payments. Bitcoin payments can't be reversed. Check the address and amount before you send.

4. Ark and third-party services

Spendrr runs on the Ark protocol. The Ark server ark.second.tech is run by Second, not by us. Its availability and rules are outside our control.

• Ark coins expire. To keep them, they need refreshing. The app does this when you open it and reminds you when it's time. A coin that expires can be lost.
• Emergency exit moves your money to a regular Bitcoin address even without the Ark server. It costs network fees, takes time, and its cost changes with network load.
• Price, fees and the map come from third parties and are for information only.

5. Gift links

Whoever has a gift link can take the money in it. Only send it to the person it's for. Until someone claims it, you can take the gift back.

6. @names

• An @name and the Ark address behind it are public.
• Don't pick a name that impersonates another person, company or brand, or that is offensive or unlawful.
• We may remove or block a name that breaks these rules, and block a mailbox that breaks them repeatedly.
• A name with no activity for a year can be taken by someone else.

7. Lightning address (beta)

Payments to your Lightning address are received by our service and passed on to you. It never holds a key that could spend the money. Limits are 100 to 1,000,000 sats per payment. If the service is down, the payment doesn't go through and the payer isn't charged. We may limit or switch off this feature at any time.

8. What's not allowed

Using Spendrr for unlawful activity, flooding or circumventing our server's protections, or pretending to be Spendrr or its team.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss of money or other damage caused by a lost seed phrase or password, a mistake when entering a payment, an outage or change of third-party services (including the Ark server), expired coins, software bugs, or the app being unavailable. This does not affect any rights the law gives you as a consumer.

10. Source code and brand

Spendrr's code is open source under the AGPL-3.0 license. The Spendrr name and logo are not covered by the license.

11. Changes and shutdown

We may change the app and these terms. We'll announce important changes in the app. We may also shut the service down. That won't cost you your money: it stays under your seed phrase, and the emergency exit gets it to a Bitcoin address.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic.
